get to know me

On a typical day you’ll find me at home on our small Eastern Iowa acreage with my family. We're probably watching The Office or playing on the floor together. I’m a full-time Iowa wedding photographer and mama (it’s pretty much another job!) to my kiddos, Evelyn and Rowan, and wife to my hubby and almost high school sweetheart, Joey. I believe in simplicity — minimal fuss with an emphasis on what truly matters.

Oh, and I'm obsessed with the color purple!

Meeting new couples like you and capturing your love story brings my heart so much joy! Wedding planning shouldn’t be super stressful. It’s a day you only get to celebrate once, so you should get to enjoy it! I photograph the real, timeless moments you never want to forget!

More than a wedding day, you're about to enter the hardest, best journey of your life! Marriage takes serious work and commitment to last a lifetime!

Keeping things simple and easy to understand is basically one of my love languages! You've already got a ton going on — there's no need to make it more complicated!

Let's be honest, flowers make everything better! From a bad day to the perfect tablescape — I love it when there's fresh flowers! If I could, I'd have them on my desk all the time!

One of my favorite part of wedding days is taking my couples out into the sunset for some husband & wife photos. The light is so dreamy, you're relaxed and everything is just perfect.

celebrating marriages

So, you’ve planned the most gorgeous day. Am I right? You guys are madly in love. But, what happens after the excitement? Let’s be honest, you’re probably going leave those dirty clothes on the floor. It’s only a matter of time. I capture the way you feel on your wedding day. That way, when you’re feeling less than perfect, you can look. See the smiles and the joy you felt at the beginning. Rekindle the flame. You’re building a legacy with your marriage. One day your grandkids are going to see your wedding photos and not be surprised, because grandma and grandpa still love each other like they did back then.
