Ames Family Session | C Family

One of my greatest joys in this job as a photographer is seeing my past wedding couples thrive in their marriage and grow their family. Every once in a while I get invited back to celebrate their new family with a family session.

I photographed Emma and Nathan’s New Years Eve wedding in Iowa City at the end of 2022. It was one of the first weddings where I was able to fully embrace a documentary approach to weddings.

Getting to document them as a new family of three was really special. They joined me in Ames on the most perfect fall day. I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with them and meeting their sweet baby girl!
