Anniversary Session in Ames, Iowa

Ellie and Ben just celebrated three years of marriage! This year I’ve been able to celebrate many of their friends’ anniversaries. They all got married around the same time, so it’s been fun to celebrate all of them throughout the year. We took advantage of a beautiful afternoon in Ames to capture a little of what life looks for them right now.

Early anniversary sessions are so sweet. This is a special time in your life where it’s just the two of you. These are the days of your life you’ll look back on and remember what it was like to figure out life together. I hope one day their kids will look at these photos and get a sense of who their parents were when they first got married.

Such a sweet feeling to revisit again and again.
