Best of Weddings & Couples 2017

January 2, 2018

I’m starting a new tradition around here and ending the year (and starting the new one) by celebrating my favorite moments! While it took quite a bit of time to look back through every image from the year, I’m so glad I did! Opening file after file of smiling faces and precious memories was so fun! I experienced my own personal growth as well as reflected on the amazing couples I worked with in 2017.

Looking back, I’m immeasurably grateful to my husband, Joey, for his unconditional support and love.  My incredible family who watch Evelyn time and again when I have sessions and meetings (hey, Mom!).  And especially thankful for all the wonderful people I get to photograph and now call friends!

My heart is so full as I look at a visual representation of God’s blessings. He gifted me with a unique opportunity to serve couples right at the start of their marriages! I love beautiful wedding days, but more importantly, I love watching couples build strong marriages!

This year introduced me to a few of my new wedding industry favorites. The beautiful floral work of Tiffany at Studio Bloom. Stunning gowns from Brides by Jessa, and sweet Jessa herself! I’ve been blown away by the incredible wedding planning from the Kanes at Bright DeSigns. I could photographer their work all day, every day! The year was also filled with some of the most gorgeous venues like Cedar Ridge Winery, the beautiful Sugar Grove Vineyards, Ushers Ferry, and Old Brick Church.

Reviewing 2017 has me so excited for 2018 and all its possibilities! I love each and every couple who has placed their trust in me to capture their big day. Not only will this year’s weddings be amazing, but in just a few months Joey and I will be parents x2! 2018 is going to be amazing, I can’t wait!
