Iowa Sunset Engagement Photos

Happy Thursday! Whew, does anyone else feel like fall crept up on us way too fast? I can’t believe I’m nearing the end of my 2019 wedding season. But, with one season starts another, so while I may be finishing up my last few weddings this year, I’m getting to meet all my 2020 couples for their engagement sessions, which is so fun! We couldn’t have asked for a better night to take Cody and Renee’s Iowa sunset engagement photos!

We waded through a herd of some of the friendliest cows you’ve ever met to get to this perfect spot! While we may have taken on a few extra cow kisses and slobbers along the way (they were cute though!), this view was so totally worth it! Cody grew up in this farm land, so it was super special to be able to take their engagement photos here!

Renee and Cody met in the most perfect way. Cody’s from Iowa, Renee’s from Missouri. They just so happened to cross into each other’s Bumble radius while Cody was driving back from Nashville, and what do you know? They made a match! Now these two have the same job, for the same company and work in neighboring jurisdictions!

Renee and Cody, you guys are so fun! I still can’t believe how crazy awesome your story is and that you both work the same job so seamlessly. We had the most perfect night to celebrate your engagement (the pizza and beer definitely made the celebration official!). I’m so excited to photograph your wedding next year! No matter what the temp, I guarantee it’s going to be beautiful! 🙂
