Olivia and Josh’s Ashton Hill Galena Wedding

What an amazing day for Olivia and Josh’s Ashton Hill Galena wedding! I’ve shot at Ashton Hill Galena a few time since it was completed last year. The view overlooking the rolling hills of Galena looks absolutely breathtaking in every season! We celebrated Olivia and Josh here with an engagement session last fall. Photographing these two in the same location during opposite seasons was so fun! I love the airiness of dry grass in late fall, but the lush greenery in full sun was perfect for their wedding day.

Not only was the day beautiful, but Olivia and Josh were an amazing couple to work with. Their enthusiasm made ever photo of them a joy to capture. Their wedding design brought the nature indoors with a greenery-filled reception. Everything was the perfect combination of elegance and a little drama, which was perfect suited for Olivia. The venue’s full-length window wall allows so much natural light to spill into the reception space. Their guests truly were able to feel like they were apart of the nature glowing in the sunlight outdoors.

Olivia and Josh, you two are genuine. Everyone around you cannot help but share the joy you express so freely. You never fail to make each other deep-belly laugh. I know your marriage will bring so much light to all who meet you. Thank you for being so incredibly fun to work with! This day was perfect. I can’t wait to share ALL of the photos with you!
