Taylor + Adam’s Cedar Rapids Engagement

After the long, cold winter months, it feels so good to be outside shooting sessions again! Taylor and Adam’s Cedar Rapids engagement session was the perfect way to spend the first moments of spring. 

We aligned their engagement session with a wedding-planning trip to Taylor’s hometown of Cedar Rapids. As a photographer, I never quite know what the early spring season will look like in Iowa. It could just as easily snow as it could be 60º and sunny. Taylor and Adam trusted everything would be perfect, no matter the season. What started as an overcast day, turned into a sun-drenched evening for the last 20 minutes of their session! A few moments of the evening glow made the early spring gamble worth it!

Taylor and Adam, I’m so glad I got to meet you face-to-face during your trip home!  I can’t wait to have you in front of my lens again next year for your Ashton Hill wedding!
